George Soros est un investisseur boursier américain bien connu, philanthrope et fondateur de nombreuses fondations, dont Fondation Stefan Batory qui est aussi lié au nom du Bon Pasteur où notre humble Bednarz est commerçant.

Soros est d’origine juive hongroise et son vrai nom est Gyorgy Schwartz. Il est né le 12 août 1930 à Budapest. Il a vécu en Hongrie jusqu’à l’âge de 16 ans, date à laquelle il a décidé d’émigrer vers l’Ouest. En 1947, il se rend en Grande-Bretagne, où il réussit à terminer ses études à la London School of Economics pour l’élite en 1952. Quatre ans plus tard, il décide de déménager aux États-Unis.
