Sir Richard Dearlove a dirigé le MI6 de 1999 à 2004. Dans un entretien réalisé pour un podcast de nos confrères du Telegraph, il explique aujourd’hui avoir vu un nouveau rapport scientifique important qui suggère que le virus n’est pas de souche naturelle mais qu’il fut conçu de main d’homme par des scientifiques chinois, avant de s’échapper accidentellement d’un laboratoire.

Selon Sir Dearlove, cette découverte permet d’envisager la possibilité d’exiger de la Chine des réparations financières pour les morts et la catastrophe économique subie par le monde.

Même avant cette révélation, la pression était déjà de plus en plus forte sur Beijing pour tenter d’obtenir des explications de plus en plus détaillées sur l’origine de la propagation de ce virus…
